"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT"

Many issues face our county every day, every year and every moment. For the next month, we will focus our prayers on people groups, ministry groups, economic issues, health issues, crime focus, economic issues and military as these make up San Bernardino County.
Prayerlessness | Prayer Podcast
How many times in the Bible did a group face what seemed insurmountable challenges yet when they sought the Lord for help and advice, they saw God move in miraculous, protective and successful ways? Our greatest issue facing our County is not the problems themselves, but how we react to them? Shall we give into fear, complaining or adding to the paranoia and hype? OR can we seek the Lord for divine intervention? AND seek to pray with others about the concern? Every time the people of God sought His hand and advice, He gave specific orders. Sometimes it required fasting, repenting, confessing their sins and turning to God. Sometimes it required worship, reading the Word and long times of prayer. In every case, it required a reliance on God and not their human understanding or effort to fix it.
Please carefully look over the 2025 Homeland Threat Assessment - all possibilities based on their data collection. These are real concerns that they made known to the public. We can worry or do what the Bible says, worry about nothing and pray about everything, bring your requests to God with thanksgiving. Then we can walk in His peace that will guard our hearts and minds. Just think you can be a HISTORY maker by petitioning God about the threats. It only took one man to pray for rain that Israel had not seen for awhile. But how much more when we pray together! Homeland Threat Assessment 2025

FENTANYL/OPIOID OVERDOSES:

Half the overdoses are from fentanyl. The appeal is economic. Relatively easy to manufacture and inexpensive. But it’s poison. It can be diluted and made to mimic pills that people are looking for. EARTHQUAKES/FLOODS | PRAYER PODCAST
To prepare us for an earthquake we keep hearing news reporters say, "It is not a matter of if but when it will happen." Are we prepared in our county for a major earthquake? Are you and your family prepared? This year they urged us to install MyShake. This app alerts you when an earthquake is felt nearby. To see a list of recent earthquakes in your area use this tool. To find current earthquakes in the world filtered by size and time, use the US Gov Website. At least annually there is a shakeout drill at most public schools reminding us to drop, cover and hold on until all is clear. Additionally, we deal with storms and floods. The county has a web page dedicated to alerts, resources and updates.
Prayer points: continued drills, education, reminders that we could have an earthquake and the need to prepare, first responders in the event one happens that causes damage; people stay observant and ready, listening to alerts and directions, enough but not too much about so people don't get desensitized, stay vigilant, people use sandbags and follow official guidelines to prepare for flooding; motorists heed the warnings on roads where roads tend to get flooded; sufficient road signs warning drivers to take necessary precautions; CA Dept of Transportation plans ahead for flooding and other groups to improve roadways; no one gets complacent but stays on top of latest alerts, safety and protection in the event one happens, plans where to go and how to check in on family; emergency supplies enough for 2 weeks or so.
